Who to refer.
Dr Charlotte Allen welcomes any orthopaedic referral including fractures, general orthopaedics and lower limb arthroplasty. She has a particular interest in Foot and Ankle surgery, Sports Knee and knee arthroplasty. Specific conditions she treats include but are not limited to:
Foot and ankle: ankle arthritis, ankle replacement, bunion correction, foot arthritis, ankle instability, ankle sprain, Achilles tendinitis, Achilles tendon rupture, rheumatoid foot, tendonitis,
Knee: knee arthritis, ACL injury, meniscal injury, patella dislocation.
Make a referral.
To make a referral to see Dr Charlotte Allen, please provide a referral letter including:
Patient details – including contact details and NHI
Reason for referral, brief history, examination and any investigations.
ACC 45 number and date of injury if there has been an injury.
Referrers contact details so we can keep you updated with our patient’s progress.
If your patient has a foot and ankle conditions, getting weight bearing x-ray’s can expedite their care by preventing delays once seen.
